Accepted Card Types

MIGs accepts all major credit cards from Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Set up time

The rough time estimate required for that is 1-2 weeks.

Generally it’s better to check EMP’s website for more accurate information.

Fees

There are different types of fees, it’s worth double checking the transaction and setup fees. It’s also good to read following article: “What Payment Method Should I Choose First“.

How to set up? 

First, send a ticket to your On Boarding Specialist sharing your chosen payment method, after you get in touch with MIGS and receive your credentials, follow steps below:

• From your store’s dashboard go to “System” > “Advanced” > “Settings”
• Click on “Payment Methods” under “SALES”
• Then click on “Mastercard Virtual Payment Client (MIGS-VPC)” tab to expand, and complete the following fields:
  • “Enabled”: Set it to “Yes”
  • “Title”: type in the title that you want to show to your customers on the checkout page
  • “Merchant Id”: Add the merchant id that should be provided by the payment method
  • “Merchant Access Code”: Add the merchant access code that should be provided by the payment method
  • “Merchant Secure Secret”: Add the merchant secure secret that should be provided by the payment method
  • “Gateway”: Set it to “Yes”
  • “New order status”: Set it to “Processing”
  • “Currency”: Set the currency that you want to be showing on MIGs checkout page
  • “Language”: Set the language that you want to be showing on MIGs checkout page
  • “Payment Applicable From”: Here you can enable it for all countries or you can specify some countries from the drop down list.

• Once you finish click on “Save Config” button.
