2.2 How To Add Pictures To The Menu Bar

Introduction 

Adding a product image inside the menu bar next to the category will help with understanding what the category represents and will definitely grab the store’s visitors attention.

Steps

  • From your store’s dashboard, navigate to “Catalog” > “Categories” > “Categories Layout” > “Category Items Management”.
  • Click on the category item that you would like to add a product picture to
  • Click on “Content” tab.
  • Scroll down to “Featured Item”, then from the “Featured Type” drop-down list, select: “Product”
  • From “Featured Products”, select the product that you want to be showing in the category by clicking on the icon next to the text field.

  • Once you finish click on “Save Menu” button.

Outcome

By the end of this article, you should be able to add product images to the mega menu bar.
