3.5 How to Identify My Product Type(s)?

Introduction

When adding new products to your website’s catalog, you are required to specify the “Product Type”. There are several types that your platform provides in order to accommodate to the majority of today’s common products for sale on the web, without additional customization. They are divided into two groups “Simple” product types and “Complex” product types. The former includes Simple, Virtual and Downloadable products, whereas the latter includes Grouped, Configurable and Bundled products.
