Add Products

Introduction:

In this article, we will learn how to add products on the store and manage its content "Name, Price, Image", so let's start.

In order to add products to your store, kindly follow the below steps:

  1. From the Admin panel click on Products as shown below:

  1. Click on Add Product "Plus Sign" as shown below:


  1. Fill the basic information of the product:
    1. Product Name: The name of the product
    2. Price: The price of the product
    3. Stock Keeping Unit (SKU): The identifier or the code of the product, Note: The SKU is e a unique value.
    4. Tags: Tag is a powerful mechanism to link the products together or to group them under one collection page, for example, you can group some products under the collection page "Men" by using the same Tags in the collection page. you can check this article to know more about Tags.
    1. Description: The description of the product.
 

  1. Add the image of the product:


  1. Click on Create button at the bottom of the page:


Add Quantity to This product:
  1. Click on Product Settings icon as shown below:

  1. A popup window will be displayed, tick the box next to Track Inventory.
  2. Click on  Ok button as shown below:

  1. Click on the Update button at the bottom of the page.
  2. A new field "Quantity" field will be created as shown below:
 
  1. Add the quantity and click on Update.

Add variants:
If the product you are adding includes variants "options" like sizes or colors you need to add these options in order for the customers to choose the preferred size or color.

You can do that by following the below steps:
  1.  Click on Edit Variants icon as shown below:
  
  1. Click on Edit Options as shown below:


  1. Write down the Title of the option in the text field like size or color as shown below:


  1. Click on Ok 
  2. A table will be created that include "Stock Keeping Unit (SKU), Size, Price, Quantity" as shown below:


Now you need to add the options "sizes" you have for this product, you can do that in two different options:

1- Option # 1: Add Variant 
  1. Click on Add Variant as shown below:

  1. A pop-up window will be displayed.
  2. Fill in the needed information for one variant "Size, quantity"
  3. Click on Ok as shown below:


  1. make sure to add all the available options one by one
  2. Click on Confirm after finishing.
2- Option # 2: Generate Variants, this option will allow you to generate all the options for example "sizes" in one step
  1. Click on Generate Variants as shown below:


  1. Write all the options for example "sizes" this product has and make sure to separate between them by a comma as shown below:

  1. Click on Generate button
  2. Click on Confirm to save the variants.

Adding Metadata:
metadata "Title, Description" been will be displayed when this page appears on Google or other search engines and you can add them for the product by following the below steps
  1. In the product page click on the metadata icon as shown below:


  1. Fill in the fields "Page Title, Meta Description"
  2. Click on Update as shown below:


After following the above steps a product with different sizes will be created as shown below:




The Outcome:
