Tags


Introduction


Tags are labels descriptions that identify products, pages, and collection pages and it is a powerful mechanism to link the products to a specific collection page.
products with identical tags can then be grouped together and also you can use the tags to create a strong relationship between the products. tags can be created using words, acronyms or numbers.



In this article, we will explain how tags are currently used in the dashboard

1. To link your products with collection pages: 
Example: Link product (Dress) with Collection page (Woman)


  1. From your dashboard go to Products and create the product Dress, for more info check this article (Add Product)
  2. Add woman to tag section as shown in the screenshot below: 

  4. From your Dashboard go to the Appearance section
  5. Choose to Edit Collection pages

  1. Create a new collection page by click on New Page button
  2. Fill the title "Woman" 
  3. In the Tags section, you will find all the tags that you have already added to your products
  4. Choose woman  tag and click enter 
  5. Click on Update 



  1.       To view any edits on the frontend, click on View store button: 

  1. To show the collection page on the Menu section please check this Article
you can check frontend and see the Dress item linked to Woman collection page 

2. create a strong relationship between the products (Recommendation > Similarity Tags) 


The Similarity Tags are used to help show similar/related products on the product page, we recommend similar products to your visitors by comparing product tags. you can select which tags are considered when making these recommendations by following below steps:


  1. From your Dashboard go to the Appearance section 
  2. Click on Edit for Recommendation section

  1. Select the tags that you want the system to consider when making these recommendations.



How To Edit Products' Tags In Bulk :

You can edit the product's tags in bulk by following the below steps:
  1. From the Admin panel click on Products as shown below:

  1. Select the items that you want to change their tags as below screenshot then click on "Manage Tags" 

  1. Fill the tags you want to  (Add, delete or overwrite tags) then click on the proper action
